Welcome to The 100 Club!

What is The 100 Club?
The 100 Club is a fundraising club, run by the Plymouth branch of Samaritans. The aim of the club is to find 100 people to each raise £100 or more for the Plymouth branch of Samaritans in a year - raising £10,000 in the process!

How Do I Join The 100 Club?
If you manage to raise £100 for the Plymouth branch of the Samaritans, you will automatically become entitled to become a member of The 100 Club. Full details of how to join can be found by CLICKING HERE.

How do I raise £100?
We arrange a number of sponsored events during the year, details of which can be found on the right under the heading 'Events'.

Alternatively if you have your own ideas, go for it! There is no limit to the number of people that can join The 100 Club, so you can arrange your own event, involving as many people as you like. And every person that reaches the £100 mark will be entitled to join The 100 Club.

How you raise the money is up to you. It doesn't have to be a sponsored event - maybe you could sell some unwanted items on Ebay or at a Car Boot Sale. Or bake some cakes and sell them to friends or family. You could even start a swear jar at home or at work. It really is up to you!

Finally, if you don't want to get involved in any shenanigans, but still want to join The 100 Club, you can just make a £100 donation!

How Long Do I Have to Raise the £100?
You have until the 31st December 2010.

What are the Benefits of being in The 100 Club?
Apart from the obvious warm and fuzzy feeling that you will get from raising money for charity, members of The 100 Club will also benefit from:
- Official 100 Club Certificate, stating how much you raised;
- Free ticket to Samaritans Annual Charity Ball.

What is the Samaritans Annual Charity Ball?
It's our way of saying thank you for your support! It's an (optional) black tie event, held each year in a top venue in the South West. More details can be find by clicking here.

Can I bring a Guest or Partner to the Samaritans Annual Charity Ball?
Yes, you can. There is a charge per guest. However, if you raise £200, you can bring a guest for free!

What Happens if I don't Raise £100?
You can still come to the Samaritans Annual Charity Ball, but you'll have to pay!

Can I Raise More than £100?
Of course! The more you raise, the better! And there is an award at the Samaritans Annual Charity Ball for the most money raised.
